Paul F. Lynch, 81

DOVER - Paul F. Lynch, of Dover, passed away Monday, June 22, 2009, in Kent General Hospital. He was 81. He was born on Dec. 14, 1927, in Ridgely, Md., son of the late Stephen and Pauline (Elliott) Lynch. Paul served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy for 20 years retiring with the rank of Chief. During his military career, he traveled the world and was last assigned aboard the Coral Sea Aircraft carrier. After his military career, he worked for Playtex of Dover for 25 years as a mechanic. He was an avid reader and was a member of the Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge and the Camden VFW. Paul is survived by his wife, Nancy Lynch; three children, Lucinda Kashmanian and her husband Robert of Bedminster, N.J., Paul M. Lynch and his wife Wendy of Dover, and Paula Loder and her husband Ralph of Newark; a stepdaughter, Ronda Everett of Felton; and stepson, Joseph Bernard III and his wife Faye of Irwin, Tenn.; brothers, Rodney of Florida, and Stephen of Georgetown; a sister, Barbara Elles; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Services will be 8 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call beginning at 6 p.m. Committal services will be 1 p.m. Friday, June 26, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
