MILLINGTON, Md. - Paul C. Wallace of Millington died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, in his home. He was 94.

Mr. Wallace was born Oct. 28, 1912, in Kent County, son of the late Clarence Clifton and Bertha Eudora Dixon Wallace.

He was a corporal with the Army Air Force in the European Theatre during World War II.

Mr. Wallace was a farmer in Kent County. He occupied himself with small jobs near his home, including helping the town of Millington and Millington Monument Works.

He enjoyed gardening, bird watching and cooking.

Mr. Wallace was a member of Millington VFW Post 652.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Lynn Litton; and granddaughter, Brandy Renee Wallace.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen Burris Wallace; three sons and three daughters-in-law, Roger and Kris Everett of Casselberry, Fla., Richard and Margaret Wallace of Millington and Robin and Terri Wallace of Crumpton; a brother, John "Jack" Wallace of Augusta, Ga.; and two sisters, Virginia Fleetwood of Millington and Dorothy Jean Littleton of Dover, Del.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery, Millington.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Kent County Relay for Life, P.O. Box 1001, Chestertown, MD 21620.
