MILFORD - Patterson J. Kirby of Milford died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, in his home. He was 65.
He was born Sept. 5, 1941, in Johnston, S.C., son of the late Charles Hoyt and Hattie (Johnson) Kirby.
Mr. Kirby retired from the L.D. Caulk Co., Milford, in 1998, where he worked in maintenance.
He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed playing softball.
Mr. Kirby was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 2316, where he was a member for 14 years and a past member of Milford Elks Lodge 2401.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Kirby.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Kirby of Camden; a sister, Ruth Evelyn Setlemeyer of Granite Falls, N.C., a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Ann Kirby of Camden.
Services and burial will be private and at the family's convenience.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware, 1901 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19803.
