DOVER - Patrick F. Connell passed away, Sunday, March 25, 2018 at home.
Mr. Connell was born Sept. 7, 1930 in Scranton, Pa. to the late Matthew Connell and Anna Quinn Connell.
He retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years and then retired from Civil Service as a jet engine mechanic. After his retirement he was a driver for Jen-Mor Florist and Delaware Auto Sales. Mr. Connell loved being with his family and his dog Rosie Connell. He is a member of the American Legion Walter L. Fox Post #2 and DAV.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Grebas Connell.
He is survived by his son, Patrick J. Connell of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughter, Melanie A. Pleasanton of Camden and Christina E. Klebert (Glenn) of Dover; grandchildren, Jesse James, and Dustin Connell, Megan A. and Stephen H. Eashum, Cody W. Connell, Daniel W. Larlhan, Jr., Sean and Leo Connell; great grandchildren, Mariyah and Gabryella Redding, Khloey Robinson, Mackenzie and Scarlett Eashum.
Funeral services will be held 12 p.m., Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Interment will be 11 a.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018 at The Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear.
