DOVER - Patricia Yvonne "Pat" Sullivan, 74, of Dover, died Sunday, April 3, 2011, at State Street Assisted Living Facility, Dover. Pat was born on Oct. 30, 1936, in Willow Grove, the daughter of the late William and Mary Davis. Early in life she worked at Playtex and JC Penney before becoming a homemaker and raising her three boys. She enjoyed working with her flowers and flowering shrubs. She enjoyed camping, especially the trips to the mountains of West Virginia. Pat was preceded in death by her husband Jim Sullivan; her parents; brother, Jack Davis; and sister, Emily Ferguson. She is survived by her three sons, Richie Sullivan and wife Eleanor of Felton, Jim Sullivan and wife Debbie of Felton, Patrick Sullivan and his wife Jeaneen of Harrington; six grandchildren, Matthew Fox, Jedediah Sullivan, Katland Sullivan, Justin Sullivan, Laurel Sullivan, and Jacob Sullivan. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Annie Marie Sullivan of Dover; brother, Bill Davis of Willow Grove; sisters, Dorothy Semans of Willow Grove, and Jean Hurd of Millsboro. Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday April 6, 2011 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather beginning at 6 p.m. Burial will be Thursday, April 7 in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests planting flowers or a tree in your yard or contributions to your local garden club.
