(Warner) Wick, 77 Smyrna - Patricia Estelle (Warner) Wick passed away at Kent General Hospital on May 5, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born on Aug. 31, 1937 in Riverhead, New York, the youngest daughter of Albert Payne Warner and Estelle Mae Daly. She graduated from nursing school in 1957. She married the love of her life, Joseph Frank Wick, on January 31, 1959 and was married for 48 years until his death in 2007. She and her husband moved from Long Island to Delaware in 1972 and finally settled in Smyrna with their business, Joseph Wick Nurseries. She was also a successful local realtor. She enjoyed gardening, her beloved dogs, spending time by the pool and most of all, spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Shirley O'Callahan. She is survived by her sister Jacqueline Denis and her husband, Donald of Southampton, New York; her five children, Susan Wick Preskenis and her partner Rene, of Dover; Carol Baker, of Smyrna; Patricia Simpson and her husband, Mitch, of Crisfield, MD; Jennifer Cassidy and her husband, Tim, of Smyrna, and Joseph Wick and his wife, Christi of Smyrna; her 11 grandchildren, Lauren, Michael and Christopher Preskenis; Patricia Graham; Grace and Mitch Simpson; Estelle Cassidy; Kimberly, Anna, Nora and Sydney Wick; and special friend, Shirlyn Lowman. A viewing will be held on Sat., May 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
