Patricia Brown, 62
ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Patricia Brown of Alaska, formerly of Dover, Del., died of cancer Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, in her home. She was 62.
Mrs. Brown was born Dec. 14, 1943, in Baltimore.
She completed high school and was a biblical scholar.
Mrs. Brown became a resident of Anchorage in 1978.
She was a member of Anchorage Grace Church and the Church Worship Team. She was also active in the Women's Ministry. She shared freely of her faith and love of her Lord to all she met.
Mrs. Brown was a volunteer counselor at the Crisis Pregnancy Center.
She was a homemaker, and enjoyed traveling, knitting, crocheting and reading.
Mrs. Brown had a vivacious personality that touched those around her. As a loving mother, she made childhood fun for her children. As a wife, she was an encourager and supporter. She will be missed.
She is survived by her mother, Anna Campbell of Anchorage; her husband, Larry Brown of Anchorage; a son, Craig Brown of Anchorage; a daughter and a son-in-law, Cari and Charles McCubrey of Anchorage; a granddaughter, Ashlynn McCubrey; four brothers, Gordon Campbell of Niceville, Fla., John Reynolds of Alexandria, Va., and Matthew Clark and Mark Clark, both of Tucson, Ariz.; and a sister, Charlotte Campbell of Anchorage.
Services were in Anchorage Grace Church. The Rev. John Hunn officiated.
Pallbearers were Dave Parker, Scott Grant, Mike Taylor, Will Maher, Bob Price and Art Mathias.
Burial was in Fort Richardson National Cemetery, Alaska.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Anchorage Grace Church Chapel Fund, 12407 Pintail St., Anchorage, AK 99516.
Arrangements by Kehl's Forest Lawn Mortuary, Anchorage.
