Patricia A. Morris, 58

DOVER - Patricia A. Morris of Dover died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, in Silver Lake Nursing Home, Dover. She was 58.

She was born May 28, 1948, in Wilmington, daughter of the late Wilson and Pauline (Gordy) Gruwell.

Mrs. Morris worked in nursing and domestic cleaning.

She had a lifetime affection and love for dogs. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George S. Morris; two brothers, Kenneth Gruwell and Richard Gruwell; and a nephew, Michael Thorp.

She is survived by three daughters, Pamela L. Harris of Dover, Theresa Love of Elkton, Md., and Melissa Kamall of Elkton; a son, U.S. Navy Chief Roy K. Lambert of Nebraska; two sisters, Darlene Blanchfield of Woodside and Sherry Quesenberry of Elkton; two brothers, Robert Gruwell of Woodside and Kevin Gruwell of Felton; nine grandchildren, Tina Martz of Magnolia, Miguel Martz and Christopher Martz, both of Dover, Shannan Love, Joshua Douglas and Timothy Douglas, all of Elkton, Victoria Lambert, Erika Lambert and Noah Lambert, all of Nebraska; three stepgrandchildren, Brandon Harris of Felton, Preston Harris Jr. and Paul Harris of Pennsylvania; and five great-grandchildren, Selena Martz, Tamera Martz, Malaki Martz, Tashieona Martz and Tizonn Martz.

A gathering in remembrance and celebration of her life will be 1 p.m. Sunday in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
