Orville Nathaniel Thomas, 60

GREENSBORO, MD - Orville Nathaniel Thomas, passed away Saturday, July, 11, 2009, in his home. He was 60. He was born June, 2, 1949 in Greensboro, Md., to the late Jacob Mitchell Sr. and Gertrude M. Newman Thomas. Mr. Thomas was a life time resident of the area graduating from North Caroline High School in 1967. He was a farm equipment mechanic working for many farmers throughout the county and else where. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Thomas; nephew, Gregory Thomas; mother-in-law, Mabel Lawrence; and great niece, Megan Thomas. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Regina Dove Thomas of Greensboro, Md.; two daughters, Becky Creasy and son-in-law Phil, and Charlotte Clark and husband Pete, all of Greensboro, Md.; three brothers, Joseph Thomas and wife Pat, Jake Thomas and wife Vicky, all of Ridgely, Md., and Ernie Thomas of Florida; four sisters, Bonnie Blades and husband Glenn, Georgeann Connelly Potter, all of Denton, Md., Connie Jones and husband Victor of Federalsburg, Md., and Michele Kibler and husband Dave of Henderson, Md.; four grandchildren, Kristen Thomas, Catlyn Creasy, Kayla Creasy, and Gus Clark; in-laws, Chester and Bo Dove, Carol and Lindburgh Norton, all of Greensboro, Md., Sherry Holligner of West Virginia, and Tommy and Rhonda Dove of Baltimore, Md.; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, many cousins; close friend, Jim Brown; and other close friends. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 14 at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, P.A. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro, Md. Burial will be in Greensboro Cemetery, Greensboro, Md.
