Olive L. Elliott, 84

OCEAN VIEW - Olive L. Elliott of Ocean View passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007, in Green Valley Terrace Nursing Home in Millsboro. She was 84.

Mrs. Elliott was born in Berlin, Md., daughter of the late John and Lucy Richardson Widgeon.

She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church in Selbyville, Mount Olivet Brethren Church in Georgetown and the Red Hat Society.

Mrs. Elliott enjoyed flowers and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Elliott in 1995.

She is survived by three sons, Ronald Elliott of Georgetown, Bruce Elliott and his wife, Mary of Gumboro, Donald Elliott and his wife, Denise of Dagsboro; a daughter, Linda Wright of Selbyville; a sister, Violet Widgeon West Bennett; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Widgeon Combs; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Brethern Church, 28096 Shortly Rd, Georgetown, DE 19947.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Mount Olivet Brethern Church, 28096 Shortly Road, Georgetown, DE 19947.
