GEORGETOWN - Olilee M. Scott passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 27, 2021.
Olilee was born in Harbeson to the late N. Courtland and Ethel (Betts) Veasey. She was a registered nurse working for Dr. A.J. Wildberger in Georgetown for five years and later retired from Milford Memorial Hospital after 35 years. She and her husband attended Wesley UM Church. Olilee was a devoted wife, mother, and Mom-Mom.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her son, Martin K. Scott.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Delbert Scott; children, Chris Scott, Jim Scott (Anne), and Beth Eberly (Tom); daughter-in-law, Donna Scott; nine grandchildren, Tyler Scott, Brian Scott, Trey Eberly, Kacie Berg, Bryce Eberly, Camryn Eberly, Ryan Scott, Daniel Scott, and Jenna Scott; and one great-grandchild, Charlie Scott.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, DE 19947, where friends may call after 12 noon. Interment will follow at Harbeson Cemetery.
