Ola Mae Rosado

DOVER - Ola Mae Rosado was born on Sept. 27, 1925 to the late James and Ola (Alexander) Cain. On Jan. 1, 2014 she slipped away peacefully to be with the Lord and Savior. She was surrounded by her loving family. Ola Mae was a devoted wife and mother who passionately loved the Lord and believed in strong work ethics. She retired from the State of Delaware. She loved caring for the sick, cooking and gardening. Her favorite scripture was Matthew 6:9-13 (KJV). She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Augustine Fuentes Rosado. She is survived by five daughters, Erskia Grooms Gilbert, Rosa Lee Fuentes Smith, Ernestine Fuentes Adams, Juana Fuentes Bowles, Little Star Fuentes; and one deceased daughter, Patricia Lee Grooms-Miller; two sons, Antonio Fuentes and Henry Grooms and one deceased son, Augustine Fuentes, Jr. She has 31 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Alice Fuentes; three sons-in-law, Cary Smith, Tommy Adams, and William Bowles, III; one brother-in-law; and one sister-in-law of Puerto Rico; two sisters-in-law, one sister, Pinkey Hill; three aunts; and one uncle all of Florida and two deceased sisters and one deceased brother and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where a gathering will begin at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Alzheimer's Association, Delaware Valley Chapter Headquarters, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
