O'Donnell Lee Tiedemann

DOVER - O'Donnell Lee Tiedemann of Dover, passed away Monday, July 25, at Kent General Hospital. He was 77. O'Donnell was born on September 22, 1933, in Friends Creek, Maryland, son of the late Robert and Maurgerite (Tressler) Tiedemann. He had worked for Buchannan's Firestone in Dover as a sales representative. O'Donnell was an avid golfer, enjoyed gardening and was a Mr. Fixit. He was a member of the Dover Elks, where he volunteered for Bingo and also a member of the Shawnee Country Club of Milford. He also was active in the MISGA Association. O'Donnell is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Wanda Tiedemann; three children, Keith Tiedemann and his wife Kelly of Dover, Jill Frick and her husband Paul of Camden, and Troy Tiedemann and his wife Carol of Frederica; four grandchildren, Kyle Tiedemann, Korey Tiedemann, Erin Frick, Erica Reece and her husband Garret; one great-granddaughter, Chloe Reece; and two sisters, Dorothy Norris of Manchester, Md. and Elsie Beall of Westminster, Md. and their families. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 29, at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming where the Elk Service will be observed at 8 p.m. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
