BELLTOWN - Odelia Bundick Duffie, born to Hezekiah and Hattie Mae Bundick, in Exmore, Va., on Oct. 8, 1932, went home peacefully to be with the Lord, surrounded by her husband of 56 years, Rev. Braven O. Duffie, Jr., family and friends on Jan. 16, 2011, at her home in Belltown. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 56 years, Rev. Braven O. Duffie Jr.; eight children, Reginald Bundick (Vera), Belltown, Faye Smith (Milton), Malinda Barrett (Ronnie), Louisville, Ky., Braven O. Duffy, Jr. (Tacoma, Wash.), Sherman Duffie, Sr. (Melody), Durham, N.C., Teresa Day (Gary), Wilmington, Winfred Duffie, Sr. (Rena), Dover, Daryl Duffie (Tynice), Harbeson; 21 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; three brothers, George Bundick, Charles Bundick and Willis Bundick; and four sisters, Edith Bundick, Elizabeth Blango, Virginia Miller and Annie Trammell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hezekiah and Hattie Mae Bundick; sisters, Olevia Jacobs, Catherine Jacobs, Dorothy Foreman; and one son, William Duffie. A viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, at Trinity Faith Christian Center, 15516 New Road, Lewes; the homegoing celebration will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Arrangements are being handled by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Millsboro.
