Norman G. Heim Sr.

GREENWOOD - Norman G. Heim Sr. of Greenwood, died at home on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016 surrounded by his family. Norman was born on Nov. 6, 1953, in Philadelphia, PA the son of Robert and Sarah Hipwell Heim. He was a mechanic, working 21 years for SEPTA in Philadelphia. Norman would always help anybody that needed his help. He enjoyed working on cars, watching auto shows, and doing yard work. Norman loved his wife and would do anything in the world for her, and he loved to play with his grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Heim; and three brothers. He is survived by his wife Linda; two daughters, Desa Heim (Harold) and Stephanie Torres; one son, Norman Heim Jr (Tammy); five grandchildren, Dominick, Shyanne, Joshua, Ryan and Hunter; one brother; four sisters; his niece, Kenzie and her daughter, Little Lucy; nephew, Pete; mother-in-law, Marie Jacobs; brother-in-law, Mike; sister-in-law, Desiree (Brian); and many other nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, 1 p.m. at Blades VFC, 200 E 5th Street, Blades, DE 19973. Interment will be private.
