Norma L. Greene, 79 BENNINGTON, Vt. - Norma L. Greene, mother of Paula Houran of Magnolia, Del., a resident of Shaftsbury, Vermont, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008 in Bennington. She was 79. Born in Bennington May 15, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Raymond J. Langlois and Mabel (Noyes) Langlois Morin. Norma and Myron were married in Bennington on Feb., 2, 1952. Myron died June 19, 1998. For many years Norma was active with her husband in the operation of the family contracting business. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Kevin Dunican, Shelley and Abel LeBlanc, Deborah and Bernie McDonald, all of Bennington and Paula and Dennis Houran of Magnolia, Del.; a son, Myron H. Greene Jr. of Shaftsbury; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Greene was predeceased by a daughter and son, Ellen Emily Greene and Francis Morin. Friends are invited to graveside committal services which will be held in the Waite Cemetery in Shaftsbury, 2 p.m., Friday. Contributions be made to VNA & Hospice of Southwestern Vermont Health Care through the office of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, 628 Main Street, Bennington, VT 05201.
