Norma Jane Cordrey, 86
DELMAR - Norma Jane Cordrey of Delmar died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, in Delmar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 86.
Born in Delmar, Norma Jane was the daughter of the late Louis and Edith Adkins.
She was a homemaker who loved cooking for her family and friends. Her cookies and cakes were always a treat.
Norma Jane was a member of St. Stephen"s United Methodist Church in Delmar.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Charles W. Cordrey; two sons, Charles Brian Cordrey and Jeff Cordrey and his wife, Susan; four nieces, Elaine Moore, Susan Tull, Janice Hoffman and Cheryl Yamera; and two nephews, Dean Adkins and Bryce Brown.
A graveside funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stephen"s Cemetery in Delmar.
The Rev. Marsha Carpenter will officiate.
In memory of Mrs. Cordrey, contributions may be sent to St. Stephen"s United Methodist Church, 101 E. State St., Delmar, DE 19940.
Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
