Noble J. Dhue

GREENSBORO - Noble J. Dhue, Jr. died Jan. 1, 2015, at Easton Hospital in Easton, Md. Born July 11, 1935, in Goldsboro, Jackie, as he was known, was the son of the late Noble J. Dhue, Sr. and Helen Boyd Dhue. He was a lifelong resident of Caroline County. He was a 1954 graduate of Greensboro High School. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Jane Ringgold Dhue. He was the owner of Dhue's Garage in Goldsboro for 46 years and he was a Caroline County school bus contractor for 39 years. He set the voting machines in Caroline County as the Republican Party representative. He was a member of the Ridgely Church of the Brethren and in his youth was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Goldsboro. He was a member of the First State Antique Tractor Club and the Bay Country AACA. He loved antique cars and tractors and being with family and friends. Mr. Dhue is survived by two sons, Wayne C. Dhue and his wife Heather of Goldsboro, and Noble J. Dhue III and his wife Stephanie of Oakton, Va.; one daughter, Donna Dhue Wilkins and her husband Neal of Arnold; four grandchildren, Gordon, Andrew, Emily and Helen; and his in-laws, Stanley and Peggy Hutchison of Ridgely, and Jerry and Marian Garey of Greensboro. Funeral services will be held at 11am Tuesday, Jan. 6th at the Ridgely Church of the Brethren, 110 Park Ave. in Ridgely. Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 8 Monday at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. at 12 S. Second Street in Denton. The interment will be in the Greensboro Cemetery. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, for friends to please send memorial donations to the Ridgely Church of the Brethren, 110 Park Ave., Ridgely, Md. 21660 or to Camp Mardela, P.O.
