Natalie Frances Crane

SUDLERSVILLE, MD - Natalie Frances Crane of Sudlersville died at her home on Monday, April 30, 2012. Born Dec. 13, 1926, in Kingston, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Jacob Dewey and Vesta Natalie Markel Meurer. She graduated from Emerson High School, Class of 1944 and then attended Jersey City Technical College in Jersey City, N.J. On February 1, 1964, she married Thomas Frederick Crane of North Hampton, Mass. Mrs. Crane did a lot of volunteer work at New York Foundling in New York and later at the Sloane Kettering Hospital in New York. She and her husband retired and moved to Sudlersville, MD on Jan. 30, 1987. Mr. Crane died Feb. 14, 1997. She was a member of the Dover Century Club, Dover, the Stokley Center for Disabled Adults in Georgetown, and a member of Immaculate Conception, Marydel, Md. Mrs. Crane is survived by a niece, Katherine Goyette of Felton, Del. Arrangements are by the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, Centreville, MD. Services will be private.
