CLAYTON - Nancy Ruth Lamon passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Jan. 25, 2017. Ruth was a life member of the Clayton Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Walter A. Lamon, Sr.; children, Walter, Jr. (Karen), of Bel Air, Md., Sandra, of Flagler Beach, Fla., and Michael (Cheryl), of Palm Coast, Fla.; two sisters; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She loved her family and they adored her. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Ewell's St. Paul United Methodist Church in Clayton. Burial will be private. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
