Nancy Mae Zammetti, 73

DOVER - Nancy Mae Zammetti, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009 in Christiana Hospital. She was 73. Born in Point Pleasant, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Howard and Dorothy Fort Dunfee, and had lived in Colliers Mills and Brown Mills, N.J. prior to moving to Dover in 1988. Mrs. Zammetti had been a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed travel, Bingo, and crossword puzzles and was a member of the Dover Modern Maturity Center. Her most treasured time was that spent with her granddaughter, Emily Rose. She is survived by her husband, Andrew J. Zammetti, of Dover; one son and his wife, Joseph and Donna Zammetti, of Milford; one daughter and her husband, Theresa A. and Rick Carnes, of Hainesport, N.J.; and three grandchildren, Emily Rose Zammetti, of Milford, Joshua Fichman, and Andrea Worobetz, both of New Jersey. Private Committal Services will be at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Georgetown. Donations in her memory can be made to the Dover Modern Maturity Center, Meals on Wheels Program, 1121 Forest Ave., Dover, DE 19904. Arrangements are by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc., Dover.
