Nancy L. Muller, 61
DOVER, Del. - Nancy L. Muller passed away on July 1, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Nancy is survived by her husband, John T. Muller II of Dover; a son, Ian E. Muller (Ellie) of Suwanee, Georgia; a sister, Nina Gioconda (David) of Earleville, Md.; a brother, Michael T. Ford of Amesville, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Kimberly Difillippo (Kevin) of Cold Brook, N.Y.; as well as a niece and nephew and several pups.
She was predeceased by both her parents, Bruce Barnard and Kathleen Billings (Chamberlin); as well as her in-laws, John T. and Kathleen A. Muller (Piechowciz).
Founder and president of One Dog More Rescue, Nancy, with the help of countless volunteers, found hundreds of dogs their forever homes. In addition to her rescue work, Nancy was self-employed full-time as a Scopist/Proofreader for court reporters across the country. She also had a love for live theater and worked on a multitude of shows for the students at Caesar Rodney High School and at the Kent County Theatre Guild.
Nancy was born on Clark Air Base, Manila, Philippines, and traveled the world throughout her life, visiting nearly every continent and absorbing the culture, art, and music of all the places she visited. She loved food, sewing and crafting, and creating lasting memories with her friends and family. She was an avid gardener and reader, and lived every minute to the fullest, passing on the wisdom she gained throughout life to everyone around her. She was a mentor, mother, and rescuer of more than just dogs.
Per Nancy's request, there will be no services.
