Nancy A. Anthony MILFORD - Nancy A. Anthony has passed to her eternal life, called home by her Heavenly Father on the 27th day of May, in the year of our Lord 2010 A.D. We offer our prayers and devotion for her redemption, salvation and a life of eternal peace and happiness in the Kingdom of Heaven. Born in Buffalo, N.Y., her parents Howard and Lillian McCready moved to the metropolitan New York area where she became a devout convert to the Catholic faith. Nancy was a very talented acrobatic and ballet dancer and performed in many theatres and clubs throughout the Buffalo and N.Y. metropolitan areas. Nancy was a bright beacon of love, sincerity, kindness and comfort to her family, friends and all who knew her. Nancy's life was serene and peaceful because of her fervent adoration and devotion to the Blessed Trinity and her piety and faith in the Immaculate Conception, the Blessed Mother of God. She lived her faith and gained peace and comfort through daily meditations and prayers of the Holy Rosary. One of her favorite readings and meditations embraced the appearances and message given by the Blessed Mother of Fatima in 1917 to the children Jacquinta, Francisco and Lucia. Nancy walked in the footprints of our savior Jesus and conferred His virtues and teachings upon her family and friends. Nancy was truly a lamb of God and will always be remembered by the lives she touched as a very caring, considerate and gentle person with an abundance of understanding, forgiveness, love and hope to all she loved. As her end time was near, she embraced it with courage and contentment as the fulfillment of her finite life on earth, and it being the threshold of passage to an eternal life of fulfillment with the Heavenly Father in Paradise. Nancy, you have now reached that threshold of transition, your earthly cross is lifted and you are transfigured into a heavenly body as you enfold and embrace the hand of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ on the journey to eternal happiness, and the beatific vision. One of her dearest gospel readings comes from John 5:24: "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, even in death will live, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die." Nancy, for all of us you leave behind our reverence, thoughts and prayers will be with you always. Nancy is survived by her loving children, Richard C. Anthony, Corona Calif., Douglas H. Anthony, Denville, N.J., Joyce M. Greco, Boonton Twp, N.J.; her beloved grandchildren, Kyle and Nicolette Anthony, Lauren Greco, Alexandra Anthony, Daniel Anthony; and spouse, Richard A. Anthony. Nancy, you are now at peace and reunited with our Heavenly Angel the baby Richard. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 1 pm. on Saturday, June 5, 2010, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Avenue, Milford. Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
