DOVER - Myrtle Rebecca Cephas of Dover, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital at the age of 69. She was born in Dover, Nov. 23, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Helen (Waters) Cephas. She will be best remembered for wearing different caps, the crafts she made, and gardening. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Garrett; her mother, Helen Cephas; and three brothers, Carl Cephas, Aubrey Cephas, and Robert Cephas. She is survived by a daughter, Juanita Williamson of Dover; two grandchildren, Tamara Sharlow, and Albert Sharlow III, both of Pensacola, Fla.; three brothers, Terry Cephas (Virginia) of Camden, Joe Cephas (Naida) of Columbus, Ohio, and Lloyd Cephas of St. Louis, Mo.; special friends, Josphine Blunt of Virginia, and Norma Waters of Melbourne, Fla.; and host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A viewing will be from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 W. Division Street, Dover. Interment will be at Sharon Hill Memorial Gardens, Dover.
