Myrtle L. Corkell, 66 MILFORD - Myrtle L. Corkell, of Milford, passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was 66. Myrtle was born on July 15, 1943, in Churchill, Md., to the late Francis and Pauline Fifthian. Mrs. Corkell had worked for Allen's Food for many years. She enjoyed to go fishing. She had a deep concern for the welfare of her family and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ernest Corkell; and a sister, Alice Dunn. Myrtle is survived by her husband of 48 years, Eugene C. Corkell Sr.; two sons, Eugene Corkell Jr. of Milford, and Amos Corkell and future daughter-in-law Crystal K. Davis of Bridgeville; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be noon, Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market Street, Greenwood, friends may call one hour prior to service. Interment will be held at the Bridgeville Cemetery.
