MSgt. Allen Eugene Warnick
DOVER - Allen Eugene Warnick, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009. He was born April 22, 1934 in Kistler, Pa., son of the late Allen L. and Beryl A. Warnick. Allen served his country proudly in the United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War for 20 years. He worked in automotive, for both Wharton and Barnard and most recently for Manlove Automotive. He enjoyed fishing, boating, crabbing, gardening and model airplanes. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Malia Hobayan. Allen is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Joan Warnick; daughter, Renee A. Hobayan and son-in-law, Val R. Hobayan of Dover; son, Allan M. Warnick and daughter-in-law, Robin L. Warnick of Hartly; son, Darryl L. Warnick and daughter-in-law, Katherine L. Warnick of Wyoming; sisters, Sherry L. Flasher of Mt. Union, Pa., and Janet E. Flasher and brother-in-law, Clair Flasher Jr. of Mt. Union, Pa.; brother, Jay L. Warnick and sister-in-law, Anne Warnick of Carrollton, Ga.; sister-in-law, Helen "Cookie" King and brother-in-law, Donald "Duck" King of Shirleysburg, Pa., brother-in-law, Robert Maskulyak and sister-in-law, Eleanor Maskulyak of New Jersey; grandchildren, LéBon C. Hobayan, Dustin W. Hobayan, Jeremy A. Warnick, Jason M. Warnick, Justin C. Warnick, Lyndsey M. Warnick, A1C Nathaniel A. Woodhall, Dwight Shelby Roland, Shawn A. Warnick, Bradley W. Warnick, Angela Rebecca Warnick and Grace S. Warnick; and the family dog, Cutter. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
