Morgan Dwight Gunther, 67

DOVER - Morgan Dwight Gunther of Dover, a former resident of Horsham, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008. He was 67.

Morgan was the beloved husband of the late Valerie (Lonsdale) Gunther; father of Keith, Melissa, Kathy, Steven and Carol; and stepfather of Ron.

He is also survived by three grandsons, Brad, David and William; nine granddaughters, Taylor, Morgan, Briana, Hanna, Natalya, Victoria, Bryn, Elizabeth and Nadia; his sisters, Joanne and Lisa; and a brother, Rush.

Morgan was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving on the aircraft carrier USS Lake Champlain.

He retired after 44 years of service from Standard Pressed Steel, Jenkintown, Pa.

His children and grandchildren were his life.

Morgan also enjoyed surf fishing and spending time at Camp Oaks.

He was the son of Gertrude (Jones) Schmidt and Rush Gunther.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Horsham Township Community Center, 1025 Horsham Road, Horsham.

Memorial donations may be made in support of diabetes research at www.diabetes.org.

Local arrangements are by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming.
