GEORGETOWN - Miriam Virginia Seutter of Georgetown passed away on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 at home. She was 85. Mrs. Seutter was born the daughter of the late Noble F., Sr. and Caroline O. (Densmore) Fenimore. Mrs. Seutter worked in Civil Service for the Government for 28 years. She was a member of The American Quarter Horse Assoc., The East Coast Women's Professional Rodeo Assoc., and the Delaware Quarter Horse Assoc. She enjoyed cooking, baking and traveling. In addition to both parents, Mrs. Seutter was preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Seutter, Jr.; and three brothers, Noble F. Jr., William F., and Thomas Fenimore. She is survived by a son, Jan D. Seutter and his wife Judey of Ocala, Fla.; daughters, Michele M. Schutte and husband August of Lincoln, Cherie Walter Seutter Townley of Georgetown, and Sandra J. Seutter and Reese McGee of Georgetown; grandchildren, Jose, Kelly, Stacey, August III, Gretchen, Kate, Melissa, Justin, Cheriemaria, John, Teresa and Donna; great-grandchildren Jaden, August IV, Nathan Lee, Danielle, Jason, Ben, and Jessie. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St. Georgetown, where friends may call after 10 am. Interment will be in Whites Chapel Cemetery, Lewes.
