EARLEVILLE- Minnie F. Luthringer died Feb. 18, 2013 in her home. Minnie was born on Feb. 12, 1916 in Baltimore, daughter of the late William B. and Minnie Fithian Long. In 1950 she moved to Cecilton where she began working for Middletown Blind Company, she also worked at Blue Ridge Textile for 20 years and retired from Money's Truck Stop. She was preceded by her husband of 49 years, H. Gordon Luthringer in 2011; two children, Frank Reed and Joyce Scott and her siblings, Samuel, Luther, Wallace, Robert and Walter Long, Ann Lathem and Martha Hunter. Mrs. Luthringer is survived by her children, Eddie Reed (Madgelene) of Paxton, FL, Kenny Reed of Dundalk, Barbara Miller of Earleville, Fran Biddle (Lee) of Smyrna, Del., and Butch Reed of Earleville; 32 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren. Friends may call on Wednesday, Feb. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD, where funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 11 am. Burial will be held in Zion Cemetery, Cecilton, MD. Memorials may be offered to Season's Hospice, 133 Bridge St. Elkton, MD. 21921. www.galenafuneralhomeofsls.com
