Minna Anna Raczkowski, 93

WALDORF, Md. -Minna Anna Raczkowski, of Waldorf, died July 17, 2009, at her residence. She was 93. She was born on March 29, 1916, in Pilkallen, Germany, daughter of the late Gustav Borm and the late Maria Hess Borm. Mrs. Raczkowski was a homemaker and of the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed reading, needle point, knitting, crocheting, and gardening. She was a member of the Waldorf Senior Center. She was predeceased by her parents, and her late husband, Waldemar Raczkowski. Survived by her one daughter, Ingrid M. (Frank) Culhane of Waldorf; one son, Dieter K. (Joyce) Raczkowski of Smyrna, Del.; one brother, Willy Borm of Germany; two grandchildren, David A. (Shelley) Culhane and Katherine M. Culhane; and two great-grandchildren, Brett D. Culhane and Callie B. Culhane. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 20, at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata. Interment will be noon Tuesday, July 21, at Greensboro Cemetery, Greensboro. Rev. Kimberly McKnight will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Charles County, P.O. Box 1703, La Plata, MD 20646. Arrangements by Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., La Plata, Md.
