GREENSBORO - Milton Robert Bishop, Jr. passed away on April 11, 2018 in Easton, Md. He was born on Jan. 11, 1943 in Dover, to the late Milton Robert and Augusta Greeson Bishop.
Mr. Bishop worked as a farmer throughout his life, was known for his gardening, especially his lima beans, fishing and crabbing.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Virginia Bishop; and granddaughter, Angel Holt.
He is survived by daughters, Vicki Lewis (Mark) of Easton, Tammy B. Holt (Travis) of Easton and Crystal B. Parks (Danny) of Ridgely; brother, William Bishop of Dover; sisters, Carolyn Latchum of Felton and Jeanie Steele of Felton; grandchildren, Mark Lewis, Ryan Lewis, Robby Holt, Timothy Parks, Taylor Holt, Shelby Parks, Bradley Holt and Natalie Carpenter; and his best companion, Buddy (Beagle).
A funeral service will be held for Mr. Bishop at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home in Greensboro, on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 2 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Greensboro Cemetery.
