Mildred H. Lawson, 95

MILLSBORO - Mildred H. Lawson of Millsboro passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, surrounded by her loving family. She was 95.

Mrs. Lawson was born Aug. 7, 1911, in Hickory Hill, daughter of the late John S. and Mary (Parker) Moore. She was a lifelong resident of Millsboro.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Andrew B. Mears; her second husband, Albert T. Lawson; a son, Ronald A. Mears; and a grandson, Kevin Mears.

She is survived by a son, W. Leroy Mears and his wife Toni; a granddaughter, Janine McIlvain and husband Robert; a grandson, Michael Mears; and two great-grandchildren, Laura McIlvain and Leigh McIlvain.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Millsboro Cemetery.

Arrangements by the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Millsboro.
