MARYDEL - Michelle Lynn Gneiting of Marydel died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, in her home surrounded by her family. She was 29.

Ms. Gneiting was born Oct. 22, 1977, in Perth Amboy, N.J.

She attended Virginia Tech for four-and-a-half years, where she was an honor student pursing a career in veterinarian medicine. She gave up her studies senior year due to her illness, but continued to focus on her dream.

Throughout her life, she had a love for animals, living life by spending quality time with family and friends and professing her faith and love for the Lord.

Ms. Gneiting enjoyed doing cross stitch and latch hook crafts among her many hobbies.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Kay and Al Livingston of Marydel; her father, Robert Gneiting of Piscataway, N.J.; her fiancé, Sgt. Michael Hunter of Maryland; a sister, Kim Gneiting of Marydel; and her grandparents, Robert and Sherle Wengrzynek of New Durham, N.H
