HARRINGTON - Michelle D. Guinn of Harrington died Monday, June 25, 2007, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 40.

Ms. Guinn was born in Cheverly, Md., daughter of Charles F. "Buddy" Guinn of Harrington and the late Nancy L. Guinn.

She was a waitress at various restaurants in the Washington, D.C. area.

Ms. Guinn was an avid fan and historian of Marilyn Monroe and the Kennedys.

She was a people person and amassed countless friends over the years. She enjoyed writing letters to her friends, and was a great pen pal. She had a heart of gold, and one of her favorite things in life was to spend time with her nieces, and spoiling them.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

She is survived by her father, Charles F. "Buddy" Guinn of Harrington; a sister, Deborah G. Harbaugh and her husband Alan of Newark; nieces, Sarah R., Kate L., Emma L. and Alana M. Harbaugh, all of Newark.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday in Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Highway, Harrington.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
