HARRINGTON - Michele J. Reed, of Harrington, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 9, 2016 surrounded by her family. Michele was born in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Harry G. and Helen (Allvord) Jack. She was a graduate of Harrington High School class of 1964. Michele worked as a Loan Officer beginning with the First National Bank of Harrington, then with J.C. Penney Bank and finally with the First National Bank of Wyoming, from where she retired after many years. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Harrington where she was a member of the Choir Mother's Auxiliary. She loved spending time with and caring for her family. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Nelson Reed; one daughter Beth Jacobs (Craig), of Harrington; one son Greg Reed (Tracy), of Houston; one sister Patsy Garey (Donald), of Felton; one brother Rusty Jack (Debbie) of Frederica; 5 grandchildren Lauren Jacobs, Shawn Jacobs, Ashlyn Jacobs, Morgan Reed and Caitlin Reed; one great grandson Brayden Neal; her lifelong friend Nancy Lawson of Harrington as well as many nieces, nephews & cousins. A viewing will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2016 and again from 12 noon - 1 p.m. on Monday, May 16 at the McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce Street, Harrington where funeral services will be held at 1 pm. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Milford - Harrington Highway, Harrington. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Harrington High School Alumni Association, P.O.
