Michael James Black, 21
MAGNOLIA - Michael James Black, of Magnolia, passed away suddenly Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007, at his residence. He was 21.
Though his time on this earth was short, Michael lived life to its fullest.
He had a great love for drawing and sketching whatever came to his mind and could draw anything if asked to.
Michael also enjoyed listening to music, watching boxing on TV with his father, and fishing on the local ponds.
He liked to hang out with his friends and family, through the bad times and also the good.
He hated being alone and he was always around someone he loved.
Michael had a great sense of humor and he also had this funny childlike laugh that truly will be missed by everyone.
His passing and his absence from our lives will be felt deep within our hearts until the day we meet again.
Michael had a very close relationship with his family and friends. He was very protective and caring to everyone he loved.
The special bond that Michael had with his mother can be matched by none - forever and for always he will be her "little baby," but for now he watches over us with his grandfather, John R. Black.
Michael's survivors include his two parents, Angela and Jim Black; a sister, Crystal Black; a brother, Andrew Black, all of Magnolia; his grandparents, Marylou Shippe and Don Shippe, also Joyce Black and John Black; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life service will be 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
Burial will be in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Conley Chapel, 22150 Robinsville Road, Lewes, DE 19958.
