ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Michael J. Panco Jr. of Annapolis died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, in the Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis. He was 68.

He was born in Wilmington, son of Michael and Anna (Wienkowtz) Panco.

Mr. Panco was a builder, contractor and salesman with Milton W. Bosley Construction of Glen Burnie.

He was the former owner of Surf and Sand Construction of lower Sussex County and introduced timber frame/post and beam construction to the area.

He served with the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Pranco was preceded in death by his father, Michael J. Panco Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Anna Panco; a son, Michael J. Panco III; and two daughters, Laurie and Michelle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ann"s Catholic Church, Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Bethany Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, West Avenue, Ocean View

Burial will be in Mariner"s Bethel Cemetery, Ocean View.

Instead of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Sussex Chapter, 600 N. DuPont Highway, Georgetown, DE 19947.
