Michael Edward Robinson, 50

CHURCH HILL, Md. - Michael Edward Robinson of Church Hill died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, in his home. He was 50.

Mr. Robinson was born March 5, 1956, in Chestertown, son of Freda E. Fenwick and the late George E. Robinson.

He was a 1974 graduate of Queen Anne's County High School, Centreville.

Mr. Robinson worked at Metal Craft in Delaware. He worked for the Queen Anne's County School system for many years. He also worked for the Maryland State Highway Department until his death.

He was a beautiful person. He was generous, kind and made friends easily. He loved the Lord and his family and friends. He also loved to sing.

Mr. Robinson was a member of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, Church Hill, where he sang in the gospel choir. He also sang in several other choirs. He was chairperson for Men's Day 2006 and picked Man of the Year 2006 for Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church. He was a member of Father's Day Club, Pondtown.

He is survived by his mother, Freda E. Fenwick of Church Hill; a sister and a brother-in-law, Cynthia T. and Deacon William D. Watson Sr. of Dover, Del.; four aunts; Karen V. Boyer, Anna Thomas and Beulah Fenwick all of Church Hill, and Geraldine Fenwick of Worton; two uncles, Raymond E. Fenwick of Baltimore and Roland L. Fenwick of Centreville; a nephew and his wife, Louis E. and Alicia Dodd Jr.; two greatnephews, Vincent Dodd and Isiah Dodd of Church Hill; a goddaughter, Karen E. Murray of Church Hill; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

Services will be 1 p.m. today in the church, where friends may call two hours earlier.

Burial will be in Bateman Family Cemetery, Church Hill.
