Melvin Edwin Soll, 72
DOVER - Melvin Edwin Soll of Dover died Tuesday, May 8, 2007, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 72.
Melvin was born July 17, 1934, in Philadelphia, son of the late Arthur and Ruth (Bruner) Soll.
He was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in law, and practiced law in the Dover area.
Melvin enjoyed practicing law, golfing, boxing and basketball.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Soll; and a grandchild, De'Angelo Gibson Jr.
He is survived by four daughters, Brenda Elkin and her husband David of New Town Square, Pa., Sharon Waimburg, and her husband Deenie of Holland, Pa., Jacqueline Soll, and Janae Gibson, who was the love of his life and he made sure she was okay no matter what, and her husband De'Angelo; his grandchildren, Da'Mier Soll Gibson, Jake Elkin, Lindsay Elkin, Eli Waimburg, Joshua Waimburg and Erin Elkin; a special "daughter," Danyelle Hinkle; and a cat he loved named Cokila Soll.
Services will be noon Friday in Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour before services.
Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
