DOVER - Melvin A. Troyer passed away, Tuesday, Nov. 06, 2018 at home. Mr. Troyer was born Oct. 11, 1950 in Dover the late Alfred Troyer and Effie Mast Troyer. He was a self-employed mason. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, two brothers-in-law and two grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Sadie J. (Mast) Troyer of 48 years, 11 months, 9 days; children, Kathryn (Vernon Yoder), Seymour, IA, Effie (Toby Miller), Wyoming, William Ray (Rachel Miller), Marydel, Susan (Danny Byler), Dover, Ervin Jay (Emma Beachy), Dover, Elma Mae (William Byler), Clayton, Daniel Jay (Ruth Mast), Dover, Eddie (Christina Mast), Harrington, Martha Ann (Henry Byler), Dover, Matilda Kay (Jason Jones), Harrington, Anna Mae (Jerry Yoder), Dover, Melvin LaVern (Joanna Miller), Dover, 50 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three brothers; four sisters. Services will be held 9 a.m., Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at the Bennie Beachy Residence, 1348 West Dennys Road, Dover, DE 19904. Visitation will be held at his home, 2620 W. Dennys Road, Dover, from 9 a.m. Wednesday till service time on Friday. Interment will be in the Wileys Amish Cemetery, Dover. Arrangement by Torbert Funeral Chapels.
