SEAFORD, Del. - Melva Marie Kaut Kimbler passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 3, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Melva was born on September 15, 1946 in Vinton, Iowa, the daughter of the late Ralph Kaut and Elva Broxey. She had three sons, John Robert, Mathew David and Thomas Adam.
Melva primarily worked in the electronics industries with K&L Microwave and most recently with EWT, both in Salisbury, Md.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Dean Broxey; her step-mother, Dovey Kaut; her Aunt Lola Thomas; her brother Edward Kaut & wife Karen; a niece, Maureen Kaut; a nephew, Tim Kaut; and a great-grandchild.
She is survived by her sons, John (Melody) of Greenwood, Del., Matthew of San Antonio, Texas, Thomas of Fallston, Md.; grandchildren, John Kimbler II, Chelsea (Will) Hendrickson, Erin Kimbler, Ryan Kimbler and Samantha Kimbler; great-granddaughter, Josephina Hendrickson; her brother, Gary Kaut of Isanti, Minn.; a step-brother, Mike (Elena) of Mt. View, Mo.; many nieces and nephews; her friend, Cheryl Rothwell of Delmar, Del.; and her beloved cats, Cali, Mutt & Jeff.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the Christian Church of Seaford, 22581 Sussex Hwy., Seaford, Del. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment will be private.
