HOUSTON - Melinda R. Hainespassed away on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Bayhealth @ Milford Memorial Hospital. Melinda was born in Milford, the daughter of Charles "Butch" and Rose (Messick) Warren. She was owner and operator of Melinda's Cleaning Service until she became disabled. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed crocheting. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Brooke Gomez of Milford, loving companion, Robert Swain and his daughter, Shelby Swain of Houston, 2 brothers, John Warren and his wife Lisa of Milford, and Robert Warren and wife Suzanne of Lincoln, 2 grandchildren, Tyson and Ryder Gomez, several nieces and nephews and her cat, Boo Boo. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call Friday night from 6 to 8 pm. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln, DE.
