May B. Starr, 88 MILTON - May B. Starr, of Milton, died Thursday, August 21, 2008 in Harbor Healthcare in Lewes. She was 88. May was born in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of the late Frederick and Millie Trayes Couch. She was a homemaker. May was a member of Goshen U.M. Church, the Red Hat Society and the Y.M.C.A. Water Aerobics. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Starr in 1998 and a grandson, Dr. Christopher Martin in 1998. She is survived by her children, Frederick M. Starr and his wife Barbara of Rehoboth, John W. Starr and his wife Beverly of Milton and Debra Morgan and her husband Richard of Alexandria, Va.; sister, Faye Lowe of Bangor, Pa., five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
