Mattie L. Alston, age 101 DOVER, DE - Mattie L. Alston, of Sheffield Drive, passed away on May 31, 2010 at Courtland Manor Nursing Home in Dover. Born on November 3, 1908, she was the daughter of the late John and Carrie Alston. She was 101 years old. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Union Baptist Church, 461 Decatur St., Brooklyn, N.Y. where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
