Mary Thomas Tatman

MILFORD - On Jul. 29, 2017, Mrs. Mary Thomas Tatman passed away at Country Rest Nursing Home.
She was born on Aug. 6, 1925, in Pittsville, Md., to Joseph and Violet Thomas.
Mrs. Tatman graduated from Wilmington Memorial Hospital Nursing School as a Registered Nurse, and then worked at Dover Air Force Base Hospital.
Mary was a member of Sarah's Circle, Beta Sigma Phi, and Avenue Methodist Church.
Mrs. Tatman was preceded in death by her husband, James Merritt Tatman. She is survived by her children, Ronald Tatman and his wife Jill, of Milford; her daughter, Marianne Ward and her husband, Tony, of Machipongo, Va.; her grandchildren, Mary Beth Ward, Austin James Ward, Kaila Jo Muncey, and Terra Ann Eby; and her great-granddaughter, Lianna Ward.
The family will receive visitors between 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, with a Funeral Service at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at Hollywood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Eastern Shore Community Service Board, P.O. Box 453, Nassawadox, VA 23413.
