DAGSBORO - Mary Reginaldi Wisniewski, age 68, of Dagsboro, left us this day Aug. 18, 2011. Mary was a loving mother and also father sometimes as she alone raised her 7 precious children. Mary lived a full life and was always there whenever a helping hand was needed. She left us too early and will be deeply missed. Mary was an accomplished hairdresser/beautician in her early years, and then worked at Townsends for many years. Mary loved cooking and was an avid gardener. She enjoyed playing and watching sports. In her spare time she also loved playing cards, watching movies and reading. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her three brothers, one sister and her seven children, Douglas Wisniewski of Millsboro, John Wisniewski of Daytona, Fla., Charles Wisniewski and Angela Sutton of Millsboro, Chris Wisniewski of Millsboro, Dawn Wisniewski Anderson and husband Tyler of Georgetown, and Timothy Wisniewski and Amanda of Harrington, Daniel Wisniewski and Tina Klingensmith of Dagsboro and 16 grandchildren along with one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, at 7 p.m., at Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call after 5 p.m. Mary's final resting place will be at Carey's Cemetery in Millsboro. She will be resting beside her beloved mother Bertha Powell Mercandante.
