Mary Phyllis Kreisher, 77 MILFORD - Mary Phyllis Kreisher, age 77, of Milford, died Dec. 28, 2009, at Milford Center. Mary was born on Feb. 12, 1932, in Milford, daughter of the late Clarence A. and Hattie (Jones) Lynch. Mrs. Kreisher was employed as a seamstress for Milford Stitching for over 30 years, retiring in 1997. She enjoyed reading, crafts and gardening. Mrs. Kresiher was a member of the First Baptist Church of Milford where she was very active in many church activities and with the Sunday school program. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Lynch. She is survived by two sons, Richard "Dicky" A. Cooper and his wife Susan, and Terry R. Chaney, both of Milford; a daughter, Beverly L. Lake of Charleston, S.C.; a brother, Clarence Lynch of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Irene Fitzgerald of Lincoln, and Iris Chaney of Bridgeville; three grandchildren, Nicole Chaney, Alanna Chaney, and Ryan Wright; and two great-grandchildren, Damien Barnett and Jade Barnett. Services were Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at the Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford. Burial was held in the Milford Community Cemetery on North Walnut Street. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church, 6062 Old Shawnee Rd. Milford, DE 19963.
