Mary Marie Wooters, 76
SEAFORD, Del. - Mary Marie Wooters passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 31, 1945, in Goldsboro, Md., daughter of the late Norman and Thelma (Ivins) Wooters.
Ms. Wooters worked for DuPont as a spinning machine operator. She enjoyed reading her Bible, leading people to God, and visiting nursing homes. Sitting and watching hummingbirds, football, especially the Miami Dolphins, and the Briscoe Brothers wrestle were also some of her favorite pastimes.
In addition to her parents; Ms. Wooters was preceded in death by Arthur Wooters, Norman Wooters, Vera Wooters, Skip Wooters, Mike Wooters, and Jay Adams. She is survived by her daughters, RoxAnne Revel of Seaford, Del., Thelma Murphy of Seaford, Del., Kimberly Higgins of Seaford, Del., and Rainy Hamrock (Brook) of Ocean Pines, Md.; her grandchildren, Casey Foskey of Laurel, Del., Ashley Foskey of Seaford, Del., Cody Revel (Taylor) of Fruitland, Md., Logan Messick (Libby) of Milford, Del., Jeffrey Murphy (Brittany) of Fruitland, Md., Brittany Pugh (Mark) of Laurel, Del., Zachary Watters of N.C., Bekah Nesbit of Ocean Pines, Md., Timothy Hamrock of Ocean Pines, Md., and Layla Hamrock of Ocean Pines, Md.; her great-grandchildren, Lilly Watters of N.C., Sam Watters of N.C., Makaylah Foskey of Laurel, Del., Brayden Foskey of Laurel, Del., Micah Foskey of Seaford, Del., Emmitt Revel of Fruitland, Md., Grace Messick of Milford, Del., Christain Messick of Milford, Del., James Harmon, Jr. of Fruitland, Md., Nolan Murphy of Fruitland. Md., Marlynne Pugh of Laurel, Del., Moriah Pugh of Laurel, Del., Michal Pugh of Laurel, Del., Mark Pugh, Jr. of Laurel, Del., Malcom Pugh of Laurel, Del., Marshall Pugh of Laurel, Del., and Baby Boy Pugh of Laurel, Del. (07/2022); her sisters, Norma Hutchins and LuAnne Whitby; and her brother, Roy Whitby.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 5 p.m., at Watson-Yates Funeral Home, a Parsell Family Funeral Home, 609 East King Street, Seaford, Del., where friends may visit beginning at 3 p.m. Interment will be private.
