Mary Louise Hammond

FEDERALSBURG - Mary Louise Hammond, formerly of Ridgely, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 at her home. She was born on Jan. 12, 1932 in Talbot County to the late Marion, Sr. and Cornelia Lynch Hutson. She had been employed with Black and Decker, formerly of Easton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Hammond; and her brother, Marion Hutson, Jr. She is survived by her children, Crystal Hammond of Rehoboth, Wilma Hammond and William Hammond both of Federalsburg, and Mathew Hammond of Parksburg, Pa.; one brother, LeRoy Hutson of Florida; one sister, Laura Robare of Millington, and six grandchildren. Funeral service for Mrs. Hammond will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at the Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home in Greensboro. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in the Ridgely Cemetery. The family is asking for donations to help towards the purchase of a monument for Mrs. Hammond, send these to the funeral home, PO Box 160; Greensboro, MD 21639.
