PALM BEACH, Fla. - Mary L. Zuch, passed away peacefully in the William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay on the evening of March 10, 2009. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1924, the daughter of the late George W. and Esther L. Lowry. She came to Palm Bay, in 1997 from Dover, Del., where she had lived for 25 years, with her husband Charlie. She was known lovingly as the "family organizer." She never knew a stranger and loved talking to all. She is survived by her husband and best friend, Charles D. Zuch; daughter, Kathleen (Katie) Pfaff; son-in-law, Richard, all of Palm Bay. She also leaves behind her sister, Eleanor Grifo of St. Clair Shores, Mich.; brother, George W. Lowry; sister-in-law, Betty, both of Centreville, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. Burial will be private, at a later date, in Dayton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to express their sympathy, please consider a donation to Joe's Club, at the Alzheimer's Assn., 4676 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne, FL 32935.
